1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading, or using AstroCaddy, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use AstroCaddy. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
• You may not use another person's account or impersonate anyone.
• You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete account.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

AstroCaddy offers an optional paid subscription ("AstroCaddy Pro") with the following pricing in U.S. Dollars (local equivalents may apply):

• Monthly: $4.99 per month, auto-renewing each month.
• Annual: $39.99 per year, auto-renewing each year.
• Lifetime: $99.99 one-time purchase.

4.1 Auto-Renewal

Monthly and Annual subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your payment method will be charged for renewal at the price in effect at that time. The Lifetime purchase does not renew.

4.2 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your platform's subscription settings:

• iOS / Apple: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → AstroCaddy.
• Android / Google Play: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → AstroCaddy.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to Pro features until then.

4.3 Refunds

All subscription payments are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests must be directed to the relevant platform; we do not process refunds directly.

4.4 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices. You will be notified in advance, and increases will not take effect until your next renewal. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance.

4.5 Restoring Purchases

If you reinstall the app or switch devices, you can restore an active subscription via Profile → Settings → Restore Purchases.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service, including observations, photos, posts, comments, and messages ("User Content").

By submitting User Content, you grant AstroCaddy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for technical purposes such as resizing), display, and distribute that User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where the content has already been shared with other users (in which case the content may persist with those users until they delete it).

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to the User Content you submit, and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post content that is unlawful, harassing, abusive, defamatory, obscene, threatening, or otherwise objectionable.
• Post sexually explicit content, child sexual abuse material, or graphic violence.
• Falsify or misrepresent observations, equipment, or achievements in ways that materially deceive the community.
• Spam, scrape, or otherwise abuse the Service or its users.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or to our infrastructure.
• Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except where permitted by law.
• Circumvent any usage limits, paywalls, or technical restrictions of the Service.

7. Moderation

We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to review, remove, or restrict any User Content, group, or account that we believe violates these Terms or harms the community. We may also suspend or terminate accounts for repeated or serious violations.

To report a user, post, or group, use the in-app report button or email astrocaddydev@gmail.com. We aim to act on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours, as required by Apple's App Store guidelines.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or for any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) will survive.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ASTROCADDY AND ITS DEVELOPER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) $50 USD.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AstroCaddy and its developer from any claim, demand, loss, or damage (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Chester County, Pennsylvania, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

13. Apple App Store Additional Terms

If you accessed AstroCaddy through the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and AstroCaddy only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content. To the extent that these Terms provide for usage rules less restrictive than those set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, the latter will apply. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. The "Effective date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance.
